Narwal Robot Vacuum and Mop
A relative newcomer to the world of robot vacuums, Narwal offers a sweeping and mopping system that's impressive. It's costly and is hindered by a cumbersome, slow learning curve application.
To mop, drop a detergent sheet into the base station's water tank that is clean. Then it uses clean water to wand the pads and scrub floors with 10N pressure.
Features
The Narwal T10 is a combination robot vacuum and mop that is able to sweep, scrub, and clean hard floors. Its intelligent navigation and mapping system is based upon simultaneous localization (SLAM) technologies. It also has anti-collision, cliff-sensing, and anti-collision technologies that can keep the machine from falling down a staircase or hitting furniture. It can also recognize and avoid rug. This is a common issue for many robot vacuums, mops and hybrids.
The robot has two huge water tanks: one to keep clean water and one for dirty. Prior to a mopping cycle it will automatically head to its base station and soaks its pads with the clean water from the tank. During the mopping run, sensors alert you to when it's time to change out the pads and refill the water. It requires 16 ounces of water which is less water than the majority of robots.
The T10 will automatically dry the pads after you've cleaned them. This helps prevent cross-contamination. It then resumes mopping the area it left off. This method makes it less necessary to perform hand washing by hand which is a huge plus, as it protects your hands from bacterial and allergens. This feature is exclusive to Narwal. Most robot vac/mop hybrids simply dip their mop heads in buckets of sand that has been contaminated.
The T10's mopping function is powered by a motor that turns the pad 3 times per second. This provides a more thorough clean, especially in corners and edges. The rotating pad and two side brushes sweep dirt, hair and other debris into the vacuum slots. This eliminates the dust bin and is greener than traditional cleaning methods.
The app lets you create an outline of your space that allows you to mark areas to be used for sweeping as well as mopping. The app also allows you to select the intensity of cleaning levels, including a thorough clean, which removes lingering debris and dirt to ensure a thorough job. You can also create "no-go zones" to instruct the robot not to go over area rugs or other obstacles.
Design
Robot vacuums are a great way to keep your home clean, hygienic and orderly. They can reach and clean areas that traditional vacuums cannot, such as underneath furniture. They can also eliminate dirt, allergens and germs that may make you sick. They can be programmed to clean on a regular basis and so you don't need to stress about remembering to do it yourself. They can also be used in places that people aren't allowed, like under the kitchen sink or in the corners of the house. cleaning robot mop and vacuum removing devices and keep your floors clean of germs and dirt.
Narwal is a bit different than other robot vacuums on market in that it's a mopping machine with a vacuuming feature added on. The large water tanks enable it to mop large areas of floors without worrying about emptying the tank. It also comes with mopping modes that let you choose between different levels of intensity to remove the most stubborn stains quickly.
The robot's navigation is powered by LIDAR and SLAM technology that allows it to draw maps of your space. It can use these maps to navigate around your home and create the path for cleaning in a zigzag pattern, which ensures thorough cleaning and eliminates cross contamination. It also features anti-collision and cliff sensors that stop it from running into your tables or falling down the staircase.
Like most robotic vacuums, the Narwal T10 can be controlled through the narwal app or by voice commands. It has a small circular LED display that shows its current status and two touch-sensitive buttons on either side control docking maps, docking, and starting and stopping. The app lets you alter your cleaning settings and set up scheduled mopping.
It also comes with an option to switch between mopping and vacuuming modes, which is helpful in the event that your floors are dirty and you're looking to clean up fast. It has an 1800-pa motor which is good at sucking up dirt, however, it struggles to get rid of debris from carpets and rug.
Performance
The Narwal Freo is a fantastic robot that does a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors. Its huge water tanks are easy to maintain, and it comes with a variety of mopping intensity settings. It can also clean small spills or messes from carpet. The vacuuming capabilities aren't quite as impressive, but. Its 1,800Pa vacuum power is less than that of more expensive robovacuums like the Roborock MaxV Ultra.
The Freo's intelligent mapping and navigation technologies give it the ability to adjust to the surroundings and devise an optimized cleaning program. It uses simultaneous mapping and localization (SLAM) in order to create an area map and then work in a zigzag pattern to prevent cross-contamination, and to ensure a consistent finish. It can then share this map with the narwal app, so you can modify cleaning settings and create no-go zones to prevent it from sweeping or mopping certain areas.
Once the Freo has been identified and is able to continue cleaning where it left. The mops of the Freo are self-cleaning and return to their docks to rinse after every use. This saves time and shields hands from dirt and allergens. The Freo conserves water as well by using only 16 oz per mopping cycle. This is the equivalent amount of water used in the large coffee cup.
This robot is able to change between mopping and vacuuming, so it's an ideal choice for those who have both flooring in their homes. Its sweeping abilities are superb, and it does an excellent job of removing pet hair, dust, and other debris. The Freo's dual side brushes enable it to reach into corners more effectively than single-brush vacs, and its cliff-sensing and anti-collision functions assist in preventing it from getting stuck on staircases or hitting furniture.
While it's a great vacuum/mop set-up However, the Narwal T10 is pricier than most of its competition. Its huge base station home to two 1.3 gallon tanks that require frequent refills. This can be a hassle especially if your robotic has tanks that fill up faster. The app is messy and frustrating and doesn't have the features for customization you'd expect from a machine that costs more.
App

The Narwal robot vacuum and mop is a standout among the other robovacs on the market. While the majority of them boast excellent mopping and vacuuming capabilities, with a mopping feature the T10 was designed as a self-cleaning two-in-one machine from the ground up. Its mopping, sweeping and other features are efficient and easy to manage via the narwal mobile app. The buttons on the base station permit manual adjustments in the middle of cleaning.
The Narwal robot is powered by Lidar, SLAM and SLAM technologies. This makes it one of most intelligent cleaning machines. It makes use of its sensors to identify your home's layout and then converts that information into a detailed cleaning plan for your floors. This is a remarkable feature, and it can help the T10 not to get lost and keep track of its work while working in your home.
Another distinctive feature of the Narwal is the ability to map out "no-go zones." Set up no-go zones in the app to make the T10 beware of certain areas during cleaning. This is useful if you are looking to keep the T10 from mopping or vacuuming areas rugs.
The self-cleaning capabilities are impressive, as the T10 will periodically return to its docking station to flush out and wash its mopping pads. The cleaning system for pads saves you from having to dunk your mop into dirty water and keeps it clear of germs between mopping sessions.
The narwal mops are also made with a unique triangular design which covers a larger area and offers a more efficient clean in corners and tight spaces. The two side brushes help trap hair and dirt, and also remove them from the floor so that they don't clog up the vacuum or drain the battery.
In contrast to other robotic vacuums, the Narwal does not have a powerful beater bar that is able to dislodge dirt and other debris that has accumulated in carpets. Instead it relies on its superior sensors to identify and clean hard surfaces such as stains and wet spots effortlessly. The narwal mop and vacuum is also extremely energy efficient. This makes it a great choice for late-night cleaning. The motor is also quieter due to its high efficiency.
